about hunterfive
The hunterfive group of companies is broadly categorised into media and manufacturing; property investment; venture capital/opportunity exploration; and philanthropic interests.

Specifically, Hunterfive comprises:

JUST – one of Australia's largest privately owned publishing companies with print and online offerings focused on the delivery of automotive content for niche vehicle markets. JUST AUTO consists of six vehicle marketplaces - JUST CARS, JUST BIKES, JUST TRUCKS, JUST PARTS, JUST HEAVY EQUIPMENT & JUST 4x4s. JUST AUTO provides automotive enthusiasts with the content they want, when they want it and how they want it.

Inspireworks – providing end to end video production for marketing and corporate communications, training and entertainment, specialising in web delivery video.

AUTOTRADER – Western Australia’s leading automotive publishing brand.

King Glass – glass table wear manufacturer based in China with hospitality industry clients across world markets.

P4i – property investment and development in regional Australia.

Hunterfive charities - supporting a range of family related causes via a self funded charitable foundation.

Hunterfive started with JUST MAGAZINES in 1989. Shayne Hunter had recently sold his Tradergroup company to ACP - including magazines Deals on Wheels and Unique Cars. JUST MAGAZINES was his next venture, starting with the launch of JUST BIKES at the 1989 Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix. This inaugural edition was the top selling motorcycle magazine in the country.

Ash Hunter took control of JUST MAGAZINES when he was 22. 11 years on, JUST remains the flagship of the Hunterfive group. Having grown more than five fold, JUST is one of Australia's largest privately owned publishing companies, with print and online offerings. JUST CARS and JUST BIKES are the top two selling magazines in their respective Australian markets; and their online equivalents break new digital ground with websites featuring a unique hybrid of classifieds, content and social networking.

Beyond JUST, the Hunterfive media portfolio is involved with the delivery of content for the flagship automotive brand, including JUST US - an events company which adds an experiential marketing arm to the brand, as well as running music and consumer events outside of the JUST interest.

Inspireworks is a video production business providing an end-to-end solution for the marketing/corporate communications, training and entertainment industries; with a specialist capability in optimal video web delivery.

Hunterfive has business interests in China by way of King Glass - manufacturing drinking glasses for world markets. King Glass will increase its production capacity from 15 million to 70 million in 2010.

Hunterfive is also involved in property development and management via P4i – a business with an investment strategy focused on regional Australia.

The Hunterfive group also works with various charities and organisations that have a focus on supporting families. Anam Cara House (Colac) is one such organisation, providing palliative care and support for families in need in regional Australia.
